Privacy policy – Hoard
Hoard runs entirely in your browser. It has no server.
- When you click the extension icon, it reads the links and media addresses on the current page to build a list of files. That list stays on your device and is discarded when the popup closes.
- The “Grab files on this page with Hoard” entry in the right-click menu and the keyboard shortcut only open the same popup; they send nothing anywhere.
- Files you choose to download are saved by your browser directly from their original web addresses. When you choose “Save as ZIP”, the extension asks for access to those sites, fetches the files into memory in your browser to build the archive, then discards them.
- Chrome asks the extension to name every download the browser starts. For downloads Hoard did not start, it gives no name, stores nothing and sends nothing.
- The extension stores your settings (folder name, rename pattern, duplicate handling) and the state of the current download queue in your browser’s extension storage.
- The extension does not collect browsing history, page contents, downloaded file contents, or analytics, and does not sell or share any data.
